  1. I am a volunteer in the town of Charlton, Ma. We currently have nearly 30 large scale solar installations. Much of the land was forested and in chapter land. Our town currently has no funding mechanism to take advantage of the towns right of first refusal. Many hope to save our forests from the continued threat of deforestation in the name of green energy – both large scale solar and utility free-standing lithium battery storage threats.
Any information to assist us in conservation and being able to pay the large landowners fair market value for their properties would be welcome.
