[Massplanners] Postcards for Public Hearing Notices

Hi Chris,
When I worked in Wellesley they were using postcards. I believe Newton does as well. And Brookline recently switched to postcards too. Probably a lot of other communities but those are off the top of my head. I can't recommend it enough by the way.

Hi Planners - do any municipalities out there use postcards, rather than mailed letters, to notify abutters of Public Hearings?

I assume it is permissible under MGL.

I'm looking for ways to reduce our admin and mailing costs (and keep permit fees reasonable).
