[Massplanners] Definitive Subdivision -Covenant Expiration

Gary,

I agree with others the Planning Board is obligated. It’s not unusual to
hear a subdivision hasn’t started. There are numerous logical reasons why
it hasn’t started. If there hasn’t been any zoning changes or subdivision
regulation changes that the development would then be subject to granting
an extension may not be that big of a deal.

Good luck.

Hello All:

Perhaps a good Friday questions.

Have a Definitive Subdivision Plan approval /Covenant about to expire
(March 2024) -development has yet to commence any type of construction.

Is the Planning Board obligated to grant any sort of extension?

Curious to hear from your experiences & thoughts concerning this.

Thanks,

-Gary
