As we move closer to the November 22nd deadline, I wanted to send a gentle reminder about submitting your application<https://www.mapc.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/REACH-Application-Document.docx> for the Racial Equity Advancement & Collaborative Hub (REACH<https://www.mapc.org/resource-library/racial-equity-advancement-collaborative-hub/>) program.
The REACH program, developed in partnership with the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE<https://www.racialequityalliance.org/>), offers a unique opportunity for municipal teams to engage in deep learning, peer exchange, and practical application of racial equity concepts. This initiative is critical for municipalities committed to fostering equitable and inclusive communities.

Here are the essentials to keep in mind:

  *   Commitment to Equity: Municipalities must demonstrate a commitment to racial equity and receive endorsement from municipal leadership.
  *   Participation Fee: A participation fee of $5,000 is required, which can be paid in full or in two installments to accommodate budget cycles.
  *   Massachusetts Focus: Participation is open to municipalities within the Commonwealth.
