After 3+ years in the beautiful City of Amesbury as the Director of Community and Economic Development, I am moving on. The position was posted today. The City of Amesbury has begun its search for a Community and Economic Development Director.

This important role provides management, leadership, and coordination in the areas of planning, conservation, housing, economic development, and energy for the City. The Director works directly with Planning, Conservation, and CBDG (Community Development Block Grant) staff to understand all aspects of the City’s development projects, with a long-term planning emphasis related to the protection of natural and cultural resources and strong support for the economic development of the City.
