Eric,
There is a state contract for archiving services - we solicited three quotes for digitization and ended up going with William B Meyer. They had an employee drive to town hall to pick up and return our historic vital records on microfiche. The project went very smoothly and we now host them on OneDrive with a view-only link on our website<https://www.erving-ma.gov/town-clerk/pages/vital-records> available to the public.

Hello All,
We have a few very old atlases here in town that are in desperate need of preservation/conservation. The binders are loose and pages are torn and frayed. We are also looking for them to be digitized as well. Lastly, we are looking for a local vendor (within a 2 hour drive), as we do not want to mail/ship these irreplaceable items. We have been in contact with Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC), but are looking to see if anyone has recommendations/or is aware of other local vendors that could perform this work.
Thank you,
Eric
