Dear Planners:
The Mass. Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development currently has a job opening for an Administrator and is searching for an experienced professional to support the development and launch of a new program. This position will serve as lead staff for the Cannabis Social Equity Trust Fund, which was created to facilitate the full participation in the commonwealth's regulated marijuana industry of entrepreneurs from communities that have been disproportionately harmed by marijuana prohibition and enforcement.
The program will be primarily focused on distributing grants and/or loans to eligible entrepreneurs in accordance with recent state legislation. The Administrator will also support the work of the Cannabis Social Equity Advisory Board.
