[Massplanners] retiring from the Conway School

Dear MassPlanner Listserv,

I'm happy to announce that at the end of June I'll be retiring from the
Conway School of Landscape Design <https://csld.edu/>. After almost 10
years of "second chapter" work I'm ready to have more fun and travel.

Some of you I know from my 30 years in local government in Virginia and
Maryland, and so many of you I've met along the way here. You've all helped
me to learn about the systems and processes of Massachusetts and many of
you have partnered with the school on projects in your communities. Thank
you for all your collaboration and support.

I'd like to introduce my successor, Emily Johnson. With a background in
land stewardship, conservation, and applied research, Emily comes to the
Conway School most recently from Harvard Forest, where she spent six years
fostering partnerships between researchers, students, and regional
practitioners such as planning agencies and land trusts.

Emily is working limited hours this summer, so please reach out in the fall
with your project ideas. Our project list for grad student-led *winter
planning projects* is open right now. Check out the links below for
examples of recent winter term projects.
