[Massplanners] EOHLC - Official ADU Regulations are posted

Dear MassPlanners,



The EOHLC has now posted the Official version of the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) regulations. The ADU statute, in addition to the regulations, are now in effect. Please use the versions that are on the ADU website, linked below. You must download the Official Regulation version that was published by the Secretary of the Commonwealth on Friday 1/31/25 - if you downloaded an earlier, "unofficial" version please make sure you have the Official version.



As a reminder, the Attorney General's Office has offered to review any draft ADU by-laws or zoning for towns and cities. For any questions, please contact Margaret Hurley at margaret.hurley at mass.gov<mailto:margaret.hurley at mass.gov>



Please note a series of upcoming engagement activities to provide an overview of the ADU regulations that will be organized in the coming weeks and will be posted here.
