Hi MassPlanners

At the CPTC conference several people asked about opportunities to comment to the state regarding siting and permitting of solar and other clean energy systems. The comment deadline for the Commission on Energy Infrastructure Siting and Permitting ended last Friday, March 15th, but there is another opportunity still open to weigh in on the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) programs, through the DOER "Town Hall" process.

The webpage includes an overview presentation and more info.

Comments may be submitted to doer.energy at mass.gov<mailto:doer.energy at mass.gov> by 5 pm on March 22, 2024. Comments may respond to these questions:

  * Do you have feedback on DOER's plans for 2024?
  * How do DOER programs impact you?
  * Was there anything you learned today that you weren't aware of?
  * Are there concerns you have about the clean energy transition?
  * Did you enjoy the Town Hall?
  * Are there any recommendations you would have for DOER's future public engagement?
