Good morning fellow Planners,



The Town of Concord is seeking a professional planner to provide technical & administrative support for the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals, and other Committees as assigned. This individual will review and make recommendations on development proposals as assigned to ensure consistency with the Town's overall community development plans and objectives and Town by-laws and regulations. Assists the Town Planner with the coordination, facilitation of Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals meetings, and other meetings as directed. Must have ability to work with a high level of detail; prioritize multiple tasks and deal effectively with interruptions. Position requires education/experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in planning, landscape architecture or related field with 3 to 5 years relevant experience. A solid knowledge of MA Subdivision Control Law and MGL Ch. 40A required, Geographic Information System knowledge and expertise is preferred. This is a full-time, managerial-professional position with attendance at some night meetings required.



Starting Salary Range: $75,899 - $83,486, depending on qualifications.
