The Town of Webster is seeking a full-time Conservation Agent. The Conservation Agent will manage the processing of wetlands filings for proper and timely action associated with the Conservation Commission. Ensures compliance with mandated deadlines for Conservation Commission action. Manages the Conservation Commission affairs including administrative tasks related to town governance, including but not limited to drafting correspondence, tracking budgets, providing written reports to the director, and/or responding to residents' requests. Reviews and evaluates wetland filings for conformity to federal, state, and local regulations and advises the Commission on resource designation; stormwater management; pollution prevention; erosion control; wildlife and wildlife habitat preservation; agriculture preservation; groundwater protection; natural features, and resource protection. Evaluates and validates key scientific, engineering, design, and legal data for all wetland's filings submitted to the Commission and advises the Conservation Commission on issues, problems, and findings.

Salary range $75,000+/- based on experience.
