MAPD's second Lunch N Learn of 2024 gets underway with a fantastic program that was first presented at SNEAPA 2023. If you didn't have a chance to attend here is your chance!

"Homelessness: A Blind Spot in Community Planning" will address the intersection of homelessness with community planning, human services, housing policy, and equity. Those experiencing or at risk of homelessness are living through significant trauma, which makes navigating the already-complex network of services, shelter, and housing even more challenging. Because some marginalized communities are already more likely to experience homelessness, making strong connections between available resources is critical to addressing these systemic inequities.

Speakers include Judi Barrett and Alexis Lanzillottas, AICP, of Barrett Planning, LLC, as well as Sean Glennon, Director of Community Development for the City of Quincy!
