Happy 4th everyone! We have two openings in Beverly that may be of interest
to planners. Both job descriptions, additional details, and required

1) Economic Development Planner (updated salary) - in Planning Department
2) Sustainability & Resilience Project Manager - in Mayor's Office

The Economic Development Planner serves as the City's business liaison,
provides technical support for economic development initiatives, manages
grants and City programs, and provides planning staff support for local
boards which may include the Economic and Community Development Council and
Harbor Management Authority. The ideal candidate is passionate about
helping Beverly’s diverse business community open, expand, and thrive.
Interest or experience in arts and culture planning, downtowns, and
waterfront activities are beneficial.

The Sustainability & Resilience Project Manager will support the
implementation of the City’s climate action and resilience plan, Resilient
Together. The Sustainability & Resilience Project Manager will support the
Sustainability Director in developing and administering programs, policies,
and initiatives to advance the City of Beverly’s sustainability profile.
This position will address greenhouse gas mitigation, coastal resilience,
mobility, and waste reduction within residential, commercial, and municipal
sectors.
