[Massplanners] Increasing ZBA Membership

Look at the state law creating ZBAs, which indicates that members terms have to be staggered, and imply that with 3 members the terms are 3 years, and with 5 members the terms are 5 years. I’m reaching out to legal counsel to see if that is actually required by the law, but it appears to be implied. Subject: [Massplanners] Increasing ZBA Membership

Hi All,

Any communities in recent history increase the number of board members on its ZBA?

Any important considerations to keep in mind? Staggered terms? Term limits? Number of Associate members? What am I missing?

For context, Upton has 3 members looking to increase to 5.

Thanks,
