The Town of Cohasset is hiring a Director of Planning! I am leaving my position here to pursue another opportunity in the planning field. Applications for this position will be accepted until a suitable candidate has been selected.

The town of Cohasset, a dynamic waterfront community 20 miles south of Boston with a AAA-bond rating (S&P) and a full-service local government, is seeking a Director of Planning. Providing support for the elected Planning Board, the Director of Planning administers the office that performs professional, technical and administrative work in planning and land use controls, coordinates both short- and long-range plans for the town, enforces Cohasset general bylaws, and provides support to town planning committees, the Select Board and Town Meeting.

The Director of Planning oversees a full-time Assistant Town Planner.

Salary ranges between $81,266.00 - $97,130.00 and is commensurate with experience.
