[Massplanners] Dark Sky guidelines for Outdoor Lighting Bylaw...Hardwick

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions regarding the Hardwick Planning Board consideration of editing our Outdoor Lighting Bylaw.  We have some problem situations ranging from excessive security lighting of a parking lot to an educational institution which will not rectify upward lighting of street and sidewalk lamps and building entrance lights.  Our current bylaw mentions valuing the "nighttime sky" but is not based on any model bylaw.  Thanks.  Bill Cole Hardwick MA PB
