The Town of Chatham is excited to announce the newly created position of Housing and Sustainability Director. We are seeking an engaged, forward-thinking professional to lead initiatives that promote Chatham's housing goals and policies, manage housing programs and work on projects that ensure Chatham's environmental, housing, and economic sustainability. With the support of a dynamic team in the Community Development Department, the Housing and Sustainability Director ensures Town's compliance with affordable housing laws and regulations, coordinates and communicates affordable & attainable (workforce) housing initiatives and activities within the Town government structure as well as the various local housing agencies and represents the interests of the Town at the local and State level regarding affordable housing matters. The creation of affordable and attainable housing is a top priority for the Chatham Select Board with exciting initiatives currently underway to meet that goal.
