Creative placemaking helps communities address social, economic, cultural,
health or environmental issues through local arts and cultural activities.
The best place to explore how to do this work well is at the 2022 Northeast
& Mid-Atlantic Creative Placemaking Leadership Summit, April 18-22, online
and in downtown Schenectady, NY. https://www.cpcommunities.org/

The Summit features presentations, panel discussions, workshops and
hands-on experiences that explore such topics as: community and youth
engagement, local economic development, equity and inclusion, managing
gentrification, augmented reality, and more. The Summit also features
Strategy Labs, where you can get experience doing advanced creative
placemaking in Schenectady and Troy. Get inspired, feel make valuable
connections and gain useful knowledge. Continuing education credits are
available for urban planners.

Our organization is supporting this program, and we hope you can join us
