The Town of Duxbury seeks a qualified Planning Director, full time, benefit eligible. The Director performs professional & administrative duties in planning, organizing, and coordinating Town planning, land use & community development. Administers existing land use regulations falling under the authority of the board under the provisions of state statute, Town Bylaws & Town Zoning Bylaws.  Develops & initiates planning & zoning policies & regulatory programs, addressing planning and land use issues in a manner consistent with state law, Town Bylaws, Zoning Bylaws, Subdivision Rules & Regulations & land-use planning objectives.  Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Planning or a related field; five to seven years municipal planning experience or any equivalent combination. Valid Driver’s License, Certification as Planner by the AICP. Supervisory experience & Notary Public, preferred. Posted April 11, 2022 will remain open until filled.
