[Massplanners] OSRP Implementation?

Good afternoon everyone,

Shrewsbury recently had its OSPR Update approved by DCS and we are looking
to begin implementing the many tasks outlined in the Report.

However, some of the Town's leaders are reluctant to create "yet another"
committee on top of all of the committees that the Town already has on the
books.

My question is, do you know of an instance in your municipality, or even in
a different one, where the Town assigned an existing committee to oversee
something like OSRP Implementation in lieu of creating a new committee?

I am thinking of an example such as the responsibility for OSRP
implementation being assigned to the Community Preservation Committee, to
the Conservation Commission, or to another similar board etc.

Or do you think the above mentioned concept is not a good idea? I'm really
looking for any and all thoughts on the matter.
