[Massplanners] Master Developer Model

Hello All!

I was wondering whether any of you have had success using a Master Developer to manage a large development, or have been part of a team that has been successful in doing this. How does it work? How is it funded (by the community or by the developer, or other model)? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
