Subscriber posts will post until September 15th. Non-subscriber posts will not be approved and will not post. Non-subscribers can send post to <a href=\"mailto:massplanners@groups.io\">massplanners@groups.io<\/a> for post review.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On September 15th the old listserv will be closed to all posts. Anyone wishing to post to massplanners must subscribe at <a href=\"mailto:massplanners+subscribe@groups.io\">massplanners+subscribe@groups.io<\/a>.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Massplanners group is for people associated with planning in Massachusetts. The listserv was begun by Chris Skelly a number of years ago. Since then it has become a major a forum for discussion of planning issues in the State. CPTC began hosting and moderating massplanners in 2021. In 2025 the listserv was moved to groups.io with APA-MA underwritng the cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subscribers include professional planners from municipalities, regional planning agencies, state agencies, federal agencies and consulting planners. &nbsp;There are also student planners and citizen planners serving on planning boards and zoning boards of appeals. &nbsp;Other subscribers to massplanners include attorneys, engineers, conservationists, public health advocates and developers. &nbsp;Anyone currently working in planning or with an interest in Massachusetts planning is welcome to join massplanners.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you subscribe please read the <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1ib6J9BV85Ulnhzc1FSlLjY9BZxk-yjAK\/view?usp=sharing\">massplanners group guidelines<\/a> summarized here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To post to massplanners <a href=\"mailto:massplanners@masscptc.org\"><a href=\"mailto:massplanners@groups.io\">massplanners@groups.io<\/a><\/a>. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MassPlanners Listserv The massplanners listserv will be moving to the groups.io platform on September 1, 2025.
