and responsible for providing technical guidance concerning Federal-aid highway programs, activities, and analyses within the state. You will ensure that environmental programs, studies, and documents on Federal-aid highway projects comply with the National
Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Section 4(f) of the U.S. Department of Transportation Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, archaeology, noise, and other environmental laws and requirements and will provide guidance and technical assistance
to Division staff and various Federal and State partners in the process. <u>You also will guide the NEPA process for two complex multibillion-dollar projects</u>. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication, collaboration, and partnering
