<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>Can anyone tell me whether a wireless eligible facilities request can require a special permit (that may not be denied and must be approved?). We have a local bylaw that says that adding antennas to a pre-existing tower triggers a new SP for wireless towers. However, the FCC's regulations say a municipality "cannot deny and must approve" eligible facility requests. I am also aware of the shot clock deadline.</div><div><br></div><div>There's a 2000 SP for this project that expired in 2005-- it was supposed to be renewed every 5 years. </div><div><br></div><div>TLDR How does your town handle eligible facilities requests?
