<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black;mso-ligatures:none">The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is informing communities with valid Housing Production Plans (HPP) that their HPP production goals
 may have been impacted by the release of year-round housing units’ data from the latest available decennial Census, which is currently the 2020 Census.  For background purpose, Housing Production Plans are part</span><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-ligatures:none">
 of the Chapter 40B regulations.  HPPs are a proactive strategy for planning and developing affordable housing. 
<span style="color:black">Communities may be certified (in safe harbor) for one</span><span style="color:red">
</span><span style="color:black">year (0.5% increase) or two years (1% increase) in accordance with 760 CMR 56.03(4)(f) and the HPP guidelines. 
</span> <span style="color:black">EOHLC has released revised HPP production goals for all 351 municipalities and in order to assist communities to understand the impact of the 2020 Census data on HPP and SHI goals, EOHLC has also developed Frequently Asked
