<p class="MsoNormal"><a href="https://www.nps.gov/subjects/historicpreservationfund/project-grants.htm">National Park Service grants</a> can support a variety of activities: survey work, National Register of Historic Places nominations, physical preservation
work, and educational activities. Eligibility varies by grant program but most grants are open to local governments, Certified Local Governments, tribes, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. Most grants do not require matching funds.
