<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#14140C">The Town of Wellesley Planning Department is seeking qualified candidates for full-time (35 hours per week) Planner position. The Planning Department is responsible for the long-range
and current planning of the Town, as well as the administration of Zoning and land use regulations. The Planning Department staffs the Planning Board, the Design Review Board, and three historical commissions, in addition to reviewing material for the Zoning
Board of Appeals and is responsibilities working with other Town boards on related work.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#14140C">Requires a bachelor’s degree in Planning or a related field or equivalent and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. AICP or desire to obtain this Planning
designation is preferable. Knowledge or ability to gain working knowledge of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40, Wellesley Town and Zoning Bylaws as well as the specific Planning Rules and Regulations is critical. One or more year of experience in municipal
planning or a related field or equivalent is preferred. The ability to interact with the public and manage time effectively while prioritizing workflow are a must. The expected hiring range is $58,590 to $72,142 annually, and the position is benefits eligible.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
