Erving just had a public hearing on the addition of a Planned Unit Development district which accomplished what we thought a mill overlay district would, but encompassed more than just mill properties. It was generally well received by the public (at least
in the hearing) with a few concerns raised by residents who didn't realize that it didn't actually change the uses allowed in the use table. They were concerned housing might be developed on a parcel which already allows residential uses under the existing
bylaws. Emphasizing the shared driveway/one curb cut requirement was also important to our residents.</div>
