<p class="MsoNormal">Responsible for managing the operations of the Planning Office, a division of the of the Land Use, Health & Development Department, under the direction and supervision of the Assistant Town Manager for Development, and general guidance
of the Planning Board, to include the short and long range planning of development and implementation of Town land use goals and policies. The position is one of a collaborative team of LUHD Department managers accountable to the Assistant Town Manager for
Development, including Building Commissioner, Conservation Director, Economic Development Director and Public Health Director.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Plan, direct, evaluate and exercise general supervision over the work of the entire Planning Office and staff including: manage research, analyses, reports, and write policy drafts and proposals to the Planning Board, record keeping, and
the publishing of planning studies.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Develop, manage and monitor annual operating budget and capital improvement plan.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Serve as principal professional adviser and resource on planning and development issues for the Planning Board. Schedule items for action at Board meetings, prepare presentations, and prepare analyses and drafts of reports or recommendations
which the Board makes to Town Meeting, the Board of Selectmen, and the Board of Appeals. Responsible for drafting and filing reports to government bodies or agencies under State law and Town Bylaws.<o:p></o:p></p>
