[Massplanners] Tree/Clearing Bylaw and Tree Bylaw Consultants

Longmeadow has been drafting a tree protection bylaw for over a year
(failed last town meeting by a handful of votes; we are still trying!). I
passed this thread along to our Tree Warden, Leah Grigorov, who shares the
following resources:

"For public trees, I highly suggest looking at DCR's Urban Forestry
website, they have a lot of examples up there and a How To Write a Bylaw
guide. Julie Coop is an incredible resource for that.

For private trees, I suggest looking at Wellesley, they have a bylaw in
their Bldg Department regarding private trees & construction. I ran into
that a few times when I was there but not enough to speak intelligently on
it."

Leah is really great and collaborative, please feel free to reach out to
her with any questions: lgrigorov [at] longmeadowma [dot] org.
