The Town of Lynnfield adopted a Tree Preservation Bylaw in 2021.  For new home construction, all trees located in the zoning setbacks are considered protected, and mitigation is required if they are removed. We worked with MAPC on the drafting and adoption of the bylaw. We found Concord and Weston had strong bylaws that we used to jumpstart our efforts
