Alan, I fall somewhere between citizen and professional planner. I joined
Massplanners around 2006. We had recently preserved our family farm, which
involved approvals from the Planning Board, Board of Appeals, and Health
Department. I don't participate a lot in Massplanners, but the dialogues
are helpful nonetheless.
I'm an environmental engineer. I worked for many years for a large
engineering firm. I was in their planning and science group, doing
engineering and permitting work. I do that on my own now. I also serve on
two boards here: Water Resources Committee and Agricultural Commission.
Planning issues come all the time.
Thank you very much,
Bryon Clemence, P.E.
