[Massplanners] Hybrid Board Meetings

Cassandra,
I was (on a part-time basis), the Interim Land Use Director for Lunenburg
for the past 10-1/2 months. Their Planning Board does meetings on a Hybrid
basis - Zoom, in person, and on the access channel. It can be a challenge -
participating in the meeting while also keeping track of the Zoom waiting
room for raised hands and sharing of materials. They also had some issues
with their Zoom link as posted on the agenda not being correct - the
Planning Board could have met in those instances but they felt it was
unfair to meet when some people may have chosen to stay home and
participate via Zoom.
If you would like to talk about my experience with the hybrid in Lunenburg,
I would be happy to talk with you further.
I think it can work very well but does take some additional administrative
work.
