Subject: [Massplanners] Remote Meetings?
It will be a happy day to know more about a Remote Meeting provision extension or a re-write of the Regs.
Am I correct that in March of 2025, unless something changes, things will go back to the 2019 rules where only Board Members may participate remotely (940 CMR, § 29.10) and the general public must attend in person?
Asking for a friend. ;)

Kristina,
Have no fear. Extension of the Remote meetings Provision is coming. It has been a tremendous help doing our job to improve public access to meeting and attract new members on many boards and committees.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Subject: [Massplanners] Third Permit Extension Act
Hello Friends and Colleagues,
Heads up folks! CLICK HERE<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hMiEh1w-Dv7-PFFSVKMWQrsnUO2ToFXj/view> to read about a third Permit Extension Act, which was included in the recently passed Economic Development Bond Bill.
I do not have any further information or know of the existence of a “tolling calculator spreadsheet” similar to what was created during the COVID tolling period.; I would check with your respective municipal counsel.
It would have been helpful if the extension of the remote meeting provisions (or something permanent) was as part of this Bill; that extension expires in March 2025. 😊
Happy Thanksgiving.
