Sorry for the later Friday question, but here goes.

 

Under Chapter 44, Section 53G Employment of outside consultants:

 

1.	Is the consultant selection by a planning board subject to state or
local contract/bidding requirements?
2.	May the consultant be engaged by planning board to assist prior to
an actual permit submission (e.g., to work with PB and applicant to advise
on pre-application designs)?
