Good Morning Planners:

The City of Greenfield is looking at amendments to its Major Development
Review regulation thresholds. For that proposed amendment, I have been
requested to compile a list of all communities in MA that have Major
Development Review regulations in their zoning bylaws/ordinances. The
purpose statement of Greenfield's MDR Ordinance is:

Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to identify and attempt to
mitigate potential negative impacts to the City of Greenfield, such as to
City services, traffic patterns, the environment, abutting properties, or
the public health and safety, caused directly or indirectly by major
development.

Please respond if your community has such regulations in place and provide
the section of your zoning bylaw/ordinance. Thank you in advance for any
information you can provide.

Eric
