[Massplanners] Pollinator Friendly Mowing - Municipal Properties

Hi all, I'm writing with another pollinator question - this time related to mowing procedures/plans for municipal properties. If your DPW (or equivalent) mows municipal properties, do you have any best practices in place for maintaining pollinator friendly habitat? For example, do you participate in "no mow may," mow less frequently, mow at varying heights, or other? To clarify, at this point I'm just looking for information about how you manage town properties (ballfields, libraries, offices, etc.) but not roadsides.

If you contract out municipal property mowing, do you stipulate any pollinator friendly practices with your contractor?

Curious to hear about any practices or challenges you have with implementing changes.
Thanks!
