Was also going to recommend the NRB Guidebook, but since that's covered, I
will share that I have found the Urban, Rural and Suburban Complete Streets
Design Manual for Hampshire County, developed by Alta Planning & Design and
funded by Healthy Hampshire, to be useful in demonstrating what shared
roadways can look like in smaller communities or neighborhoods that don't
need overly designed roadways to meet their needs for shared modes. Here's
