[Massplanners] Dog leash regulation?

Good morning,

Lenox has a general bylaw requiring dogs to be leashed off private property—unless hunting.

Enforcement is complaint driven, any given outing on our open space holdings demonstrates a lot of free-range dogs 🙂 under "voice command" of their owner(s).

Good Morning Planners –

Williamstown is interested in this as well. Since the increase in outdoor recreation and pet adoption during the darkest phase of the pandemic we’ve seen an ever-increasing number of off leash dog incidents. As an add on the Barbra’s inquiry, for those communities that went to leash laws how has enforcement played out? Challenges, surprises, etc.?
