The Department of Planning and Community Development (PCD) acting through the Town Manager and on behalf of the Town's Planning Board and Zoning Bylaw Review Committees is requesting proposals pursuant to G.L. c. 30B, sec. 6 from qualified individuals and firms for Consulting Services (Consultant) related to comprehensive zoning recodification for the Town of Billerica.



Proposals must be emailed only and received on or before 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 11th, 2023. Submissions delivered after the appointed time and date will not be considered. The Town is not responsible for delays in deliveries, deliveries attempted when Town offices are closed, mistakes in deliveries, or any other reason for a proposal that is not submitted prior to the deadline.



Please email the department at Planning at town.billerica.ma.us<mailto:Planning at town.billerica.ma.us> to receive a copy of the RFP and to submit questions. Copies will also be available in the Planning and Community Development Office at Billerica Town Hall, 365 Boston Road, Billerica, MA 02821 after 8:30am on Wednesday, July 19th. Submission instructions are detailed in section VII: Submittal Requirements.


The Town reserves the right to cancel any request for proposals, and to reject in whole or in part any and all proposals, when it is deemed in the best interests of the Town to do so.
