Good morning,

The Town of Chatham is looking to hire a Principal Planner!

In addition to the traditional planner role - staff support to the Planning Board, long-range planning, etc. - there are also some great projects to dive into including Neighborhood Center zoning (form-based code), energy sustainability planning, and affordable and attainable housing development on multiple town-owned parcels.

The Principal Planner position has good benefits and a starting salary range is $87,900 - $92,300, as well as a hybrid schedule with some work from home days after settling into the position. But most importantly, Chatham has a strong and collaborative team, supportive administration, and is a great place to work!
