Hi Dan,

Stow requires 50% of minimum lot size (65,340 sf) be upland.

At present the Town of Dennis requires 90% of minimum lot size to be comprised of upland area.  I am reaching out to the mighty brain trust to see what other communities are doing related to this. The 90% minimum upland has been in place at least since the 1990’s if not earlier. Just as an FYI, minimum lot sizes start at 40,000 sf in Dennis, so, this means that at least 36,000 sf has to be upland.
