Hi Katrina - I have seen all three versions - Duxbury ZBA at the first public hearing; Duxbury, Kingston, Plymouth at staff level - sometimes with input on the 3 choices from the applicant if it’s specialized or complex - sometimes using a Board-approved long list of pre-approved consultants and staff is to mix/change up/take bids from the companies from the list in terms of their specialty - like traffic.

Best regards, Valerie Massard

Hello,

Question: In your particular community, who decides on whether to hire an outside consultant to perform peer reviews of a traffic impact assessment: staff, chairperson, vote of the board? Is this process requirement contained in your zoning bylaw/ordinance or in your board's rules and regulations?
