[Massplanners] GIS/Mapping Questions

Questions for my planning/development colleagues:

1) Are any Planning/Community Development departments responsible for
*maintaining* any part of your community's GIS/Maps (basemaps or overlays)?

2) If not, what role do you plan in providing information to the
responsible party? Do you have standard processes, forms, deadlines, etc.
that you complete to ensure accuracy of data on your maps?
