Good afternoon planners,

We here in Brockton are working toward a public event space, to remain
owned by the city, but potentially operated by a third-party manager. We
envision food festivals, craft fairs, movie showings, etc., but are curious
how other municipalities have structured such a setup;

*Do your communities have a municipal staff person managing (or assisting
in the management of) the space? Event promoters? Non-profit? For profits?
Local cultural organizations?

*How do you structure pay for management of the space?

*Percentage of vendor sales?

*Per-event agreements?

*Sponsorships?

*Mix of some or all above options?

Thank you in advance,

*John Fay* (He/Him)
