TOWN OF BROOKLINE PLANNER OPPORTUNITY

The primary role of the Planner is to facilitate the approval process for applications to the Board of Appeals for projects that need zoning relief. The Planner will work closely with applicants, attorneys, developers, architects, land use committee members, and the public. The Planner will advise on design and zoning issues, prepare and present reports to the Planning Board, and work on various planning, land use, and development issues. TOWN OF BROOKLINE PRESERVATION PLANNER OPPORTUNITY

The primary role of the Preservation Planner is to administer the Town’s Local Historic District By-Law and the Demolition Delay By-Law. The Preservation Planner will work closely with applicants, attorneys, developers, architects, land use committee members, and the public. The Preservation Planner will prepare and present reports to the Preservation Commission and work on various other preservation matters.
