Fellow Planners,
After a long and fun career I have decided it is time to slow down. I will be retiring on April 15th after 40 years in this line of work. I have had a great ride, through the Pioneer Valley, Rockingham County NH, MAPC, Fairhaven and finally for the last 21 years here in Dennis. I have had the opportunity to work for many great and supportive people over all of these years. I have learned from those who came before me, and I hope that I can continue to share my knowledge into the future with those who will follow us into the Planning Field.
With that, the Town of Dennis is starting the search to replace me. I would like to encourage you, if you are looking for a challenging position, where you are allowed to challenge your committees with new ideas, to consider applying. The Town Administrators over the years have allowed me to be a thinker which I have found to be a wonderful position to be in. The current Town Administrator comes from a Natural Resources background and fully understands the nature of what we do, which has been a tremendous asset to my work here.
