Subject: [Massplanners] Public-Private sewer agreements

Good afternoon MassPlanners -
I was wondering if anyone had an example of a public-private agreement regarding the provision of sewer infrastructure that they would be willing to share.
Here in Upton, we have an applicant going through the permitting process for a mixed use development along a stretch of Route 140 that currently has no sewer. While the developer has a cross-country easement to the site where they could place their pipes, the town would prefer to see the sewer located on 140 to facilitate future development. The developer is willing to do so as part of a cost-sharing agreement with the Town, so I was hoping there might be some worthy examples of this from other communities out there for us to review.

Thanks in advance,
