The City of Salem seeks a Transportation Planner to work under the direction of the City's Director of Traffic and Parking and Assistant Transportation Director to provide transportation planning, assist with the coordination of multimodal transportation initiatives as well as support street design efforts, ranging from temporary, low-cost tactical pilot projects to large-scale capital projects.  Must be able to work independently in a team environment and demonstrate judgment and initiative in determining courses of action.
